Canada Goose has dozens of parkas in their line of products, but today I have brought for you the review of the Canada Goose Expedition Parka.
So, if you were thinking of purchasing this beauty, you just got lucky! And if you weren’t, maybe, you will after this?
Is The Canada Goose Expedition Parka Really Good?
It is a classic mid-thigh length parka that is the best choice for your hiking trip this winter. Yes, the CG Expedition parka is amazing, not just in terms of quality and perfection but also in many other factors such as insulation & warmth, fit, added features, comfort, etc….
As it is a baby of Canada Goose, the lord of the ‘parka’ rings, we kind of have an idea about its quality and it does live up to it. I have tested out the expedition parka and I can vouch for the quality. The material is waterproof, and made of polyester and cotton, it doesn’t get you wet whatever condition you are in. You never are gonna have to worry about the weather when you are wearing this.
When it comes to the main features of a jacket, the CG Expedition Parka is quite warm. It is soft and warm thus providing you comfort and protection from cold at the same time. It is not the warmest coat I have tested till now, like the Cypress Hooded Jacket or the Crozat Windbreaker Jacket, but, since I belong to Denver, it does pretty well here.
The parka has straps attached near the shoulder, just like backpacks, for times when it is extra cold and you don’t want to wear the sleeves, or you just want to look extremely chic. These are gonna look absolutely fine if you pair them with a bodycon dress for a party, trust me! It also has hip straps so as to hold the jacket tightly over your body.
Also, this CG Expedition parka has an oversized fit which makes it suitable for both men and women. But it might stand as a drawback for women. It does not define your features perfectly as the oversized fit bulges around your waist and thus looks like a pear. CG’s Rossclair Parka, Nobis Astrid Parka, and Crozat Winderbreaker Jacketa are the ones you are looking for if you want a coat that highlights your gorgeous figure.

One thing I have to say is that the expedition parka is extremely durable compared to many parkas I have tested like the Moose Knuckles Women’s Parka Shearling Neoshare. And as I already said, Canada Goose’s quality cannot be doubted.
Is The Canada Goose Expedition Parka Worth Purchasing?
Honestly speaking, yes, I would totally recommend you to purchase this parka because it has to be one of the best ones I have tested till now. This CG parka is extremely functional and comfortable. I am thinking of purchasing it myself because this baby is just the one for Colorado’s weather.
There are a few minus points, the design is not up to the mark as it does not allow you to flaunt your features which is a must! Secondly, as it has an oversized fit, there is room for air to enter. Lastly, the price.
I hope you were already aware before visiting the article that the Canada Goose Expedition parka is gonna be pricey because it comes from Canada Goose. Because it is expensive. I am not saying, the quality does not justify the price. It is completely worth it, but you can get the similar quality, if not the same quality, at a lesser price. Like the Arc’teryx Patera Parka, which is cheaper but of good quality!
Among more cheaper price ranges, we also tested the Askov Finlayson parka earlier and found everything about that jacket amazing, but the CG Expedition parka is surely gonna beat that in the competition. It may have polar price ranges, but the design is very similar. If you want, you can also read Askov Finlayson’s Parka Review, because it provides a good value for money.
Below, you can see the image of Askov Finlayon’s Parka which may not be as warm as Expedition Parka, but it’s definitely worth considering.
But tell me, are they gonna provide you the same level of credibility as Canada Goose does? I don’t think so, my friend. So think before you act.

Here we are done with the expedition parka review. Overall, the parka is extremely fire. I personally liked everything about this parka, except the oversized fit that most women would dislike. But if I only talk about its functionality and the service it provides, it is top-notch.
