You might have heard about the wonders of Bombas Ski socks if you are into skiing and might have considered purchasing them.

Thankfully I gained experience with these ski socks before you could, so you are at an advantage.

You should read this review before you decide to purchase them.

Why, you ask?

Read on, you’ll find out for sure!

My Review Of Bombas Ski Socks

Just like you, I heard a lot about the Bombas Ski Socks and decided to try them out.

I am gonna be very honest.

When I saw that a pair of these cost around $30, I had extremely high expectations from them.

I expected them to be a bit out of the way, different from normal, cheaper socks.

But, as you can already guess from my tone, they did not stand up to it at all.

The socks are made out of high-quality Merino wool that provides warmth to your feet in all temperatures during winter.

The specialty of Merino Wool is that it is a breathable material like cotton and is far lighter than normal socks. But the problem is, there is not any noticeable difference when you put them on.

It feels similar to other more affordable ones like OutdoorMaster Ski Socks and Adidas All Sport OTC Socks

The cushion of the socks is very comfortable and warm indeed, but that is a trademark of every sock, isn’t it?

We tested and compared bombas ski socks with other brands.

It is the job of socks to be warm. These socks are not any different from normal socks even in terms of warmth and comfort.

I bought a pair of the Bombas Ski Socks last season for my expedition with my friends. I was excited about using them but trust me they are what you will call “overrated.”

And, because they are ski socks, I used them for skiing. But alas the string could not hold the sock on the calf as it came down near the feet quite fast. The socks could thankfully prevent the small rock pebbles that fly out during skiing. But that is not enough since you pay $30 for these.

Thus, instead of these socks you can find many other ski socks that are in the same price range but work better.

You can check out the FITS Pinnacle, Smartwool OTC Socks, OutdoorMaster Ski Socks, Hylaea Ski Socks, etc.

But, at the end of the day, all socks work the same. You cannot find anything very special in them.

Are Bombas Ski Socks Worth It?

Honestly speaking, I have experienced similar features at lesser prices and better features at similar prices so these disappointed me a lot.

I would rather invest in two socks than these ones because they are just the same at the end of the day.

One thing I have to commend is that these socks are very durable. Much more durable than Hot Feet Thermal Socks, and the Smartwool Ski Socks

The venting system is also good because while I was skiing I could feel the soft air touching my skin but it was not very airy either. The balance was just perfect.

And the design is also very plausible and practical, I liked it better than my Rahhint Merino Wool Ski Socks

Overall, these socks are definitely very good but they just do not have any special features considering their price.

I mean, you can get many better quality socks for a lesser price like Iramy Ski Socks

I like the OutdoorMaster Ski Socks the best in terms of everything. Be it design, be it comfort and fit, be it price, be it warmth, or anything!

They are just the best. They cost the same as the Bombas Ski Socks but comparatively are better than them.

If you wanna buy them for regular use then they might be a good choice, but if you are a skier, you can find better options which will give you better value for your investment.

Conclusion

I tested bombas ski socks for skiing

Personally, I did not like the star product of Bombas- its ski socks. It is a very good brand and I really like their lingerie collection, but the ski socks did not stand out for me. You can check out the other socks that I mentioned above. They are all comparable quality.
